Kusaal (people)

The Kusaal are a people in Ghana , Togo and Burkina Faso who are also called Kusale , Koussassé or Kusasi .

In Ghana, between 420,000 and 437,000 Kusaal live with the settlement area in the Bawku District in the northeast of the country. Around 11,000 Kusaal live in Togo and around 21,000 in Burkina Faso. The Kusaal in Burkina Faso live predominantly in the provinces of Nahouri and Boulgou in some localities south of Zabré in the central south of the country.
