from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As a cuddle cafe or cozy café establishment are referred to, in which single people for a partner to cuddle can "rent".

In Japan in recent years opened many such facilities. One reason is the fact that more and more young men and women are unmarried because they cannot find a partner. There are both male and female hostesses who interact with their clients. For example, they can lay their heads on the hostess' lap for a fee.

The first cuddly café, Soineya , opened on September 25, 2012 in Akihabara , Tokyo . The name roughly means "sleep-together shop".

In the meantime, cozy cafes have also opened in Canada and the United States .
