The Kuusamojärvi is a lake in the Finnish landscape of Northern Ostrobothnia .
The lake has an area of 47.36 km² and is at an altitude of 253 m. At its northwest end is the city of Kuusamo . The Kuusamojärvi flows down to the eastern Muojärvi . It is therefore in the catchment area of the Pistojoki and the White Sea .
