The Kvarsnesvika (Norwegian for Quiet Headland Bay , in Australia Kvars Bay ) is a small bay on the coast of the East Antarctic Kempland . In the southern part of Edward VIII Bay , it is located on the southeast side of the Kvarsnes peninsula .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named them, mapped them using aerial photographs of the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 .
