Kvea (Norwegian for sheepfold ) is a rectangular valley filled with glacial ice in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . In the Mühlig-Hofmann Mountains , it is north of Grytøyrfjellet between the mountain ridges Grinda and Skigarden .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named the valley, mapped it on the basis of aerial photographs and measurements made by the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
