Kybol was an anti- knock agent with 105 RON during the Second World War in Germany . Kybol consists of diethylbenzenes and propylbenzenes .

Kybol was used in addition to isooctane , tetraethyl lead , benzene and ethanol to produce the more knock-resistant aviation fuel type C3 with 100 RON instead of B4 fuel with 87 RON .

Kybol was manufactured in production facilities at Hüls (400 tons per month), Schkopau (400 tons per month) and Gendorf (800 tons per month) in what is now the Bavarian chemical triangle .
