The Kyrkja is a mountain in Norway and located in the province Innlandet in Jotunheimen - National Park in the immediate vicinity of the hiking accommodation Leirvassbu. Its height is 2032 moh.
Origin of the name
Kyrkja means church when translated into German. The name is probably based on the silhouette of this mountain, which is reminiscent of a church tower with a nave.
Route to the summit
The normal route leads over the southern flank and is somewhat exposed in the summit structure.
