László Csákányi
László Csákányi (born January 13, 1921 in Güssing as Ladislaus Eugen Zsigovits ; † November 3, 1992 in Budapest ) was a Hungarian actor and chanson artist.
Life
Csákányi was born as Ladislaus Eugen Zsigovits in Güssing in 1921. His father was a Magyarized Croat, his mother Hungarian. His daughter Eszter Csákányi, born in 1953, lives in Budapest, where she works as an actress who has won the Kossuth Prize . He graduated from the Budapest Drama Academy and came to the National Theater in Budapest in 1942.
The Second World War and a three-year imprisonment of war interrupted his career. Then began his theater career. It was repeatedly used in all of Budapest's major theaters. He was often used as a voice actor for cinema and television films. For example in the popular TV series Flintstones as Fred Flintstone. Csákányi died in Budapest in 1992 and was buried in the Farkasréti cemetery .
