Country time

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Landeszeit was a cross-state news magazine for the three states of Saxony , Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia , which was broadcast daily at 7:00 p.m. on MDR television via satellite instead of the state magazines. No articles of their own were produced, but rather individual articles from the three other regional magazines (Sachsenspiegel, Sachsen-Anhalt heute and Thüringen Journal). The program also included news blocks presented by a speaker. There was also an issue of the previous day's broadcast for the deaf in the mornings (via all distribution channels).

The broadcast was discontinued when the analog satellite was switched off on April 30, 2012. Via the digital satellite path, the viewer can decide for himself which regional magazine he would like to see, so that the summary by the country time as such is no longer necessary.
