Just like the Sachsenspiegel and the Thuringia Journal , the program was only broadcast from Monday to Friday in the first few years.

In the broadcast, regional information from the fields of politics, business, culture, sport, etc. is conveyed and brought closer to the viewer on a daily basis.

At the end of the regional broadcast, the weather report is presented , which is recorded in the central MDR weather department in Leipzig, as the broadcasting center in Magdeburg does not have its own weather department.
