Líneas Aérea Taxpa (under the brand name Taxpa Chile ) was a Chilean airline that had started flight operations in 1957 with a B-25 Mitchell . From 1966 until at least the summer of 1972, there was a Fairchild C-82 Packet in the fleet in addition to single and twin-engine light aircraft .

The company offered air taxi services, pest control flights, aerial surveying and rescue flights, but also flew a regular scheduled service to Robinson Crusoe Island in the Pacific Ocean during the season . A twin-engine plane crashed on one of these flights on October 6, 1972. Nine people were missing, no trace of the machine was found. In 1979, in addition to various aircraft from the manufacturers Piper Aircraft and Aero Commander, the company also used a Curtiss C-46 and a Douglas DC-6 on cargo flights.

After Taxpa Chile retired its last aircraft in 1991, it operated a single Hughes 500 helicopter until 1992 .
