from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The or the Lögel was a German volume measure for liquids.

It was a "grand ducal Hessian measure". The measure applied from May 1, 1825 according to the ordinance of August 10, 1824 in the Landgraviate of Hesse-Homburg. One ohm was calculated as 3 1/5 lobes, i.e. 8065.99 Parisian cubic inches or 160 liters.

The measure was also called Homburger Lögel.
