Soluble group

The soluble group is part of the cation separation process , a classic method of qualitative analysis in inorganic chemistry. This cation group remains in the filtrate after the hydrochloric acid , hydrogen sulfide , ammonium sulfide and ammonium carbonate group . These include those elements that do not form sparingly soluble deposits with any of the release agents:

These can be detected qualitatively using specific detection reactions or by means of flame coloring .
