The Lübeck fire insurance association , completely Lübeck fire insurance association for rural residents , was a large German fire insurance company .

It was founded in 1826 on the initiative of Hermann Wilhelm Hach and initially specialized in the agricultural business in the area of ​​the Landamt outside the Lübeck Landwehr and in the Lübeck exclaves . The office, the Comptoir , was in the Hachschen Haus at Königstrasse 878 (No. 55 new count).

The company was registered in Prussia in 1867 and was soon also active in the Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Schwerin and, from 1889 to 1897, also in Saxony . In 1886 the insurance association was given a revised statute and the name Lübeck Fire Insurance Association from 1826 . He was exemplary in providing financial and logistical support for equipping agricultural buildings with lightning rods .

In 1917, the insurance was taken over by the Württemberg fire insurance .
