Lützowerstrasse 10 (Rastatt)

The Lützowerstraße 10 is the address of a building in Rastatt . It was built as a garrison hospital for Rastatt Fortress in 1848. In the 1920s it was a poultry farm. From 1934 to 1939 the building was used as a Rastatt nursing home; Director was Arthur fright ; many hundreds of psychiatric patients were murdered in Grafeneck Castle . During the Second World War the building served as a hospital. From 1945 to 1994 it was used as a camp for refugees, asylum seekers, resettlers and resettlers. Since 1999, the house has served as the Rastatt Central Fund Archive for the Baden-Württemberg State Archaeological Museum .
