The Lý Bát Đế shrine (Vietnamese: Đền Lý Bát Đế , also Đền Đô or Cổ Pháp Điện ) is a Buddhist shrine for the worship of eight emperors of the Lý dynasty in Vietnam . It is located in the municipality of Đình Bảng, district Từ Sơn, in the province Bắc Ninh of the region Đồng Bằng Sông Hồng (Delta of the Red River) and is located about 20 km northeast of Hanoi .

Bắc Ninh is the home province of the Lý dynasty (1009–1225), whose first ruler Lý Thái Tổ (974–1028) was educated in this pagoda with the then name Cổ Pháp Điện . The main hall of the shrine is dedicated to the worship of the emperors of this dynasty, there are statues of the first Lý emperors Lý Thái Tổ and Lý Thái Tông .

In the Văn Chỉ hall to the right of the main hall, Lý Đạo Thành and Tô Hiến Thành , two high-ranking civilian Mandarin officers who served the emperors of the Lý dynasty, are worshiped . The Võ Chỉ Hall on the left is dedicated to the worship of Generals Lý Thường Kiệt , Lê Phụng Hiểu, and Đào Cam Mộc .

In front of the buildings is a lake shaped as a crescent moon. In a pavilion called Thủy Đình , which stands on a small peninsula, Quan họ ensembles perform and water puppet theater is played. On the fourth day after the New Year, the Hội Đền đô is celebrated, a festival in memory of the glorious history of the Lý dynasty.
