Lietuvos žaliųjų partija ( LŽP ) is a political party in Lithuania . It was registered with the Ministry of Justice of Lithuania on May 11, 2011. The seat is in Vilnius . The party has 21 departments in Lithuania.

history

On March 20, 2011, the political party "Lietuvos žaliųjų sąjūdis" was founded and officially registered on May 11th. The chairman was Juozas Dautartas. On November 24, 2012 the name of the party was changed to "Lietuvos žaliųjų partija". Journalist Linas Balsys , who ran as an independent candidate in the previous parliamentary election in October 2012 and won the direct mandate in his constituency, became chairman .
