L'Avenue is a skyscraper in Montreal . It is located in the city center opposite the Bell Center and on Avenue des Canadiens-de-Montréal. With a height of 184 meters and 50 floors, it is the sixth tallest building in the city. Construction began in December 2013. The building was completed at the end of 2017 and, when completed, was the tallest building in Montreal for 25 years. It is the tallest residential building in Montreal. In addition to the dominant residential use, the high-rise is also used as an office, hotel and retail store. The building houses a total of 325 residential units. The construction cost was approximately 250 million Canadian dollars .
