As L-stone or angular rock (often technically incorrect (Stuttgart) wall panel called) are L-shaped and with steel reinforced precast concrete elements referred that to a corner retaining wall can be assembled. They are mainly used in traffic route construction and landscaping to support embankments and to support small jumps in terrain. The front side can either be designed as an exposed concrete surface or with a natural stone wall attachment. The height of conventional L-stones ranges from around 50 cm to 3 m.

The manufacturers usually have ready-made type statistics that can be used for the common load cases and soil parameters.

L-stone tongs

The L-stone pliers are used to move L-stones. It can be adjusted so that the corner stone always hangs vertically.

With the help of a round sling (or "slip") the tongs can be lifted, for example with an excavator or wheel loader, in order to move and set the stones.
