Band history

Maya, who was previously guitarist for Miyavi (where he was still called Maayatan), founded the band. Even when he was still playing with Miyavi, he performed with musicians other than LM.C. A little later, Aiji, who used to play for Pierrot , joined LM.C.

After Maya left Miyavi's band and Aiji's former band Pierrot broke up, LM.C released their debut singles Trailers (Gold) and Trailers (Silver) in October 2006 . In January 2007 the single Oh my Juliet followed , which was used as the second credits for the anime Red Garden and also for the feature film Babel . In March 2007 LM.C released their first EP , Glitter Loud Box . The singles Boys & Girls and 88 served as the opening for the anime Reborn! .

In November 2009 the band released their tenth single Ghost † Heart , which according to their own statement u. a. is influenced by the films of the American director Tim Burton . In March 2010 LM.C released their album Wonderful Wonderholic and went on their second European tour a month later.

In November 2010 the single Let me Crazy !! , on which the first song of the alter ego band The MAD LM.C was released - No Fun, No Future . In this side project, the positions were swapped and Aiji now acted as singer and guitarist, while Maya took over the place of bassist and background singer.

In March 2011 the single Super Duper Galaxy was released and in July 2011 Hoshi no Arika , on which another song by The MAD LM.C could be found - Mad or Die . After the concert on January 8, 2012 at Nippon Budōkan , on the occasion of their fifth anniversary, the single Ah Hah and the album Strong Pop as well as the third European tour for May 2012 were announced.
