Lot 40 is a radio company that is spread across many Spanish-speaking countries. Initially, in 1966, the radio station was a music show by the station Cadena SER , from which the 40 Principales Charts later developed. In 1979 Los 40 Principales became an independent radio station. In Spain alone the network has more than 3 million listeners.

Some of the following broadcasters are owned or operated by PRISA . Each network broadcasts national news from the respective country.

Most of these stations play mostly Spanish and English hits. Some predominate with Latin American songs, while others play more music from the American and European regions. The most popular styles of music are pop , rock and dance .

Los Premios Principales

The Los Premios Principales have been awarded in Spain every year since 2006 . The nominations are divided into 24 categories from which artists from all countries can receive a prize.
