LR Facility Services is a family-run craft and building services company based in Barnstorf, Lower Saxony .

history

The company was founded in 1953 as a glass and building cleaning company by Lisa and Heinz Runge and provided services in the local area until the 1990s. Daughter Angelika Hinsenhofen took over the management in 1992 and the company in 1995. In 2001 the name was changed to LR Gebäudereinigung GmbH. In the years that followed, the company experienced a phase of strong growth. In 2009 LR Facility Services GmbH was founded as a provider of innovative and environmentally friendly special services.

Corporate divisions

Conventional cleaning services are offered by LR Gebäudereinigung GmbH under the umbrella brand LR Facility Services. Special cleaning services with environmentally friendly technical processes are carried out by LR Facility Services GmbH. In addition, consulting services in the field of building planning are offered under the brand "LR Consult" as well as direct sales for professional cleaning needs in the "LR ProMarkt" at the company location.

ÖKOCLEAN100

The company's environmental activities are grouped under the ÖKOCLEAN100 system offering. The concept includes measures to improve environmental protection in all areas of the company, but particularly in the area of waste water and cleaning agents. Since 2009, cleaning agents with ingredients of plant origin have been used throughout all of the daily cleaning. LR Facility Services has received several awards for the development and implementation of ÖKOCLEAN100:

Corporate social responsibility

LR Facility Services is socially committed in a variety of ways. In addition to local projects such as sports sponsorship and school partnerships, there have been various in-house measures such as language courses for employees with a migration background. In addition, an aid project for the victims of the tsunami disaster in Sri Lanka has been running since 2005. For this, the company received an award in 2007 from the Freedom and Responsibility Initiative of German Business and in 2005 a place in the MIMONA competition.
