LSV Kamp-Köslin

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Air Force Sports Club Kamp-Köslin was a German sports club in Köslin .

The club, which was founded in 1940, caused a sensation in the Tschammer Cup in 1941 , when it was the only lower-class club to advance to the quarter-finals. There he was defeated by the later cup winner Dresdner SC after an excellent performance with 1: 4, three goals scored Dresden striker Richard Hofmann .

For the 1942/43 season, the club rose to the Gauliga Pomerania and dominated the east season as a climber. As a newcomer they finished the season with 17-3 points and a goal difference of 84: 6 and stood in the final of the Gaume Championship against LSV Pütnitz , who had not lost any points during the season. After a 1: 1 in the first clash, the club lost the second game for the Gaume Championship in front of 5,000 spectators with 1: 3. In the following season there is no longer any indication of LSV Kamp's participation in league operations. The association was dissolved by September 1944 at the latest.
