The LTI Motion GmbH has produced an international company and develops and sells products and services in drive and automation technology. The head office is located in Lahnau near Wetzlar in Hesse . Other locations are in Wasserburg (Lake Constance) and Unna (North Rhine-Westphalia). LTI Motion is part of the Austrian technology group KEBA based in Linz , which in 2018 had largely taken over the automation division of Körber AG , including LTI Motion and Heinz Fiege GmbH.
history
The physicist Karl-Heinz Lust founded Lust Electronic-Systeme GmbH in 1971, of which he was a managing partner until his death in 2009. In 1972 the first brushless direct current drive was developed for a high-speed application and manufactured in series. In 1975 the first company building was built and moved into. The first standard inverter series from 0.75 kW to 4 kW went into series production in 1986, followed by the first digital inverter and a servo system. With the expansion of the motor and magnetic bearing production in 1998, Levitec GmbH was founded. In 2000, Sensitec GmbH was founded as a magnetoresistive sensor technology company. By taking over Stromag Elektronik GmbH and renaming it to LTI ReEnergy GmbH in 2001, the business area was expanded to include renewable energies. In order to meet international standards, the LUST group of companies was renamed Lust Technology international (LTi) in 2007 and expanded and expanded in machine tool construction and spindle technology in 2009 with the acquisition of andron GmbH and Fiege GmbH & Co. KG .
When the LTi group of companies was taken over by Körber AG in 2013, the companies were integrated into the Körber Automation Business Area. In November 2018 the Austrian KEBA AG took over the company LTI Motion GmbH and the associated Heinz Fiege GmbH from Körber.

In the drive and automation technology division, LTI Motion GmbH and Fiege GmbH develop, produce and sell high-end drive technology from tool spindles to servo drive technology to magnetically mounted, high-speed complete systems, and marketed internationally.
