L Loko x Drini is a Swiss rap duo.

L Loko (born November 16, 1992 in Zurich ), whose parents come from the Dominican Republic and Hungary , and his childhood friend Drini (born July 23, 1993 in Zurich) have been together in various rap formations since 2015, including Drü0Vier and Section Züri / Section ZH. First they made a name for themselves on SoundCloud . L Loko appears as a rapper while Drini produces the beats.

They released two EPs, Welcome to Reality and Summer for Summer . The latter was created together with Joe Berry and reached number 54 on the Swiss album charts.

Her debut album Balance was released in 2019 . The album reached number 5 in the Swiss charts . In 2020 they received the Lyrics Award for the best release from the Swiss rap magazine Lyrics .

Musically, L Loko & Drini Trap play in Swiss dialect . Lyrically, one relies on an easy and patronizing life without using the genre-specific exaggerations. Both were influenced by the artists Kendrick Lamar and ASAP Rocky .
