Lyrics ( spelling : LYRICS ) is a Swiss hip-hop magazine. It was founded in December 2014 by Elia Binelli and Severin Gamper as part of their Matura thesis and advanced thesis. Since then, the print magazine has been published four times a year and is available in Swiss kiosks .

Overview

The magazine reports on current events in the hip-hop scene in Switzerland. In the print magazine you can read detailed articles about artists, album reviews, concert reports and much more.

In addition to the print magazine on YouTube, the magazine also has the Lyrics TV channel , on which interviews and game content are published. Articles are written and published daily on social media and on their own website. With the Lyrics Festival , the makers of the magazine are also active in the event sector.

Lyrics Awards

The first Lyrics Awards were launched in January 2016, honoring the supposedly best Swiss hip-hop artists for their work. The Lyrics Awards are the only awards for hip-hop artists in Switzerland.
