La Fuertezza

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

La Fuertezza was an Italian music project that was active in the late 1990s.

The music producer Paolo Verlanzi and the DJ Marco Valentini were behind the project . From 1997 the two released a series of remixes on the Milanese label New Music International , which relied on the combination of dance and Latin American music , especially flamenco . When performing, the project consisted of three musicians and two singers and dancers. With the instrumental track 2 the Night by Ottmar Liebert , originally from the soundtrack of the film Amore Amore (Il ciclone) by Leonardo Pieraccioni , La Fuertezza made it to the top of the Italian single charts in March 1997. The song also attracted attention abroad. But despite further publications, the project remained a one-hit wonder .
