La Marmotte is a French cycling race for everyone.

La Marmotte is one of the most demanding races for everyone in the world. The starting point is Le Bourg-d'Oisans in the French Alps . The route is 174 kilometers long and there are 5,180 meters of altitude to be overcome. The alpine passes Col du Glandon , Col du Télégraphe and Col du Galibier have to be overcome. At the end of the route, the 14-kilometer climb to L'Alpe d'Huez has to be mastered. There are around 5,000 to 7,000 participants every year.
