La Prenyanosa (Spanish: Preñanosa ) is a Spanish village in the municipality of Cervera , La Segarra . In 2018 the settlement had a total of 12 residents.
history
The written mention of it comes from the year 1024. The name of the village also appears in the ecclesiastical records of the church of Guissona from the year 1099. From the 12th century La Prenyanosa belonged to the dominion of the monastery of Solsona . In the beginning there was a castle.
Until 1972, La Prenyanosa was an independent municipality, to which the settlements of La Cardosa, Malgrat de Segarra, Sant Miquel de Tudela, Queràs and Castellnou d'Oluges belonged.
location
The village is located on the left bank of the Sió River , three kilometers from Cervera and twelve kilometers from Guisona. It has 23 houses arranged on a slope and facing east.
The parish church is dedicated to Sant Miquel. Some Romanesque components have been preserved. The cemetery is a bit off.
