La Sonrisa is a district ( barrio ) of the city of Maldonado in Uruguay .

It is located on the territory of the Maldonado department in its sector 1 . La Sonrisa is located south of Cerro Pelado and east of Villa Delia , in the west of the department capital Maldonado .
