LabCorp (official company : Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings ) is a US company that offers clinical laboratory services. The company supplies laboratory results for the diagnosis of diseases and the development of new drugs.
Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings was formed in 1995 through a merger between National Health Laboratories (NHL), a former subsidiary of Revlon , and Roche Biomedical Laboratories (RBL), a former division of Hoffmann-La Roche . This merger created LabCorp, the world's largest provider of clinical laboratory services. A large number of company acquisitions took place in the following years, such as the takeover of Covance in 2015.
