The Labertaler Heil- und Mineralquellen Getränke Hausler GmbH is a family-run , medium-sized mineral water company in Schierling in the Upper Palatinate.

In addition to promoting natural mineral water, the company produces soft drinks and has a range of merchandise.

history

Kreszenz and Sebastian Hausler laid the foundation stone for today's company when they registered their business in December 1949 with the production and sale of lemonades and a coal shop in their parents' property in Schierling .

On December 1, 1964, Adolf Schweiger joined the Hausler company. At that time, the company's object was not only to produce and market non-alcoholic soft drinks, but also to trade in beer and beer specialties as well as wine and spirits. The coal trade was stopped in 1969. On November 26, 1970, the Hausler company opened its first specialist beverage store in Landshut . This started the sale of self-made products and merchandise in Hausler beverage stores. Spatial problems soon arose due to the local conditions in the head office of Getränke Hausler KG, which were solved by a new building in the Schierlingen industrial park. There, on March 1, 1976, the production of non-alcoholic soft drinks and the sale of own and third-party goods began. In January 1979, Getränke Hausler GmbH was founded.

Then the production of the own brand "Hauli" began, whose distinguishing feature is the sea lion. In June 1986, not far from the company's headquarters in Schierlingen, three wells were sunk to depths of 147, 405 and 503 meters. All well drilling was successful. When it was recognized as natural mineral water in 1988, the promotion and marketing of the low-sodium mineral water from the Stephanie fountain began. This opened the mineral well for the company. At this point in time, the company "Getränke Hausler GmbH" was converted into "LABERTALER Mineralquellen Getränke Hausler GmbH".

In 1993, the fluoride-containing mineral water from the Sebastiani fountain was introduced. In 1994 the St. Sebastian fountain was approved as medicinal water by the Federal Health Office in Berlin.

Lilo Sillner has been running the company in the 3rd generation since July 1st, 1995. On July 26, 1999, a new returnable glass filling line was put into operation. A PET filling line was set up in March 2001 to complement the glass filling line. Four months later, Frank Sillner began as managing director. According to its own account, Labertaler has been an organic-certified company since 2007. In 2008, after a construction phase of more than two years, the logistics center with high-bay warehouse was put into operation.
