Labo Yari

Labo Yari (* 1942 in Katsina ) is a Nigerian writer . He became known as the author of Climate of Corruption (1978), the first English-language novel to be published throughout northern Nigeria.

Life

From 1966 Labo Yari studied Norwegian literature in Oslo , Norway . Afterwards he was a civil servant, press attaché and employee of the publishing house.
