The hotel chain Labranda Hotels & Resorts , spelling LABRANDA Hotels & Resorts , is part of the FTI Group and is under the management of Meeting Point International. It was founded in September 2015. During the 2015/16 financial year, the number of Labranda Hotels & Resorts rose to 41 worldwide.
history
The hotel brand Labranda Hotels & Resorts was founded in September 2015. It started with 24 houses in the Canary Islands , Egypt , Morocco , Greece , Malta , Italy and Turkey . Another 14 hotels were added in the first year. Labranda Hotels & Resorts said it had around 9,000 rooms in 41 hotels & resorts at the end of October 2016 and had over half a million guests.
concept
The hotels are in the 3 to 5 star segment. This is the first time that the FTI Group has consolidated its own hotels under one umbrella brand. The name Labranda comes from an ancient place of assembly and pilgrimage called “ labraunda ” in what is now Turkey .
The hotels are divided into seven categories:
- premium (five-star resorts)
- superbeach (resorts with direct beach access)
- select (four-star hotels with all-inclusive offer)
- comfort (three to five star hotels)
- charme (three to four star hotels with optional self-catering, breakfast or half board)
- smart & yummy (three-star hotels with all-inclusive offer)
- small & friendly (hotels with a familiar and local atmosphere)
