The Lac Île-à-la-Crosse is a lake in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan .
The 391 km² long lake is divided into several arms. The Churchill River flows into a branch in the northwestern part of the lake. It flows through the lake over a distance of 90 km and leaves it at its northeast end at the village of Patuanak . At the western end of the elongated lake is the place Île-à-la-Crosse . The Beaver River flows from the south into a branch of the lake. Another tributary, the Canoe River , meets Lac Île-à-la-Crosse from the west. The Saskatchewan Highway 918 runs along the south-western shore of the lake after Patuanak. The catchment area of Lac Île-à-la-Crosse covers 78,700 km². The mean discharge of the Churchill River when it leaves the lake is 120 m³ / s.
