The Lachman Crags are a 645 m high terrain step with north-south orientation on the West Antarctic James Ross Island . It extends over a length of 8 km at a distance of 5 km south-southwest of Cape Lachman .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey named it in the course of a survey in 1945 after the cape of the same name. Its namesake is J. Lachman, a sponsor of the Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1901–1903) under the direction of Otto Nordenskjöld .
