Ark (horse)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The loading of the horse is a tooth-free space between cutting or hook teeth and molars of the lower jaw. When riding , the bridle and / or curb are placed in this space.

Incorrectly seated mouthpieces or inappropriately violent reins can trigger acute or chronic inflammation , the so-called load pressure . From a medical point of view, it is a mechanically triggered, local inflammation of the oral mucosa . Signs are bloody or purulent ulcers , wounds and swelling of bones in the mouth area.
