Lagoa Rasa ( Portuguese 'shallow lake' ) is a lake in Portugal on the Azores island of São Miguel in the Ponta Delgada district . The mesotrophic lake is located in the Serra Devassa at about 780 m above sea level and is about 3 hectares in size. Since October 2005, part of its water has been taken as process water for farms in the area.
Just three kilometers away there is another lake in the Sete Cidades crater , also called Lagoa Rasa .
