Lagoon Engine ( Japaneseラ グ ー ン エ ン ジ ン) is a manga series by the Japanese illustrator Yukiru Sugisaki .

The two brothers En (12) and Jin Ragun (11) live in the Gakushi family. This family has set itself the goal of defeating so-called Maga (ghosts, ghosts and demons) if they are evil. As soon as En and Jin sense a maga near them, they set up a circle and try to guess the name of the demon in order to attack it. Lagoon Engine was published in Japan from February 2001 to 2007 in individual chapters in the manga magazine Asuka of the Kadokawa-Shoten publishing house. These individual chapters have also been summarized in seven edited volumes.

A follow-up series was Lagoon Engine in the manga Lagoon Engine (ラ グ ー ン エ ン ジ ン ・ ア イ ン ザ ッ ツ), which first appeared in 2004 in the US magazine Newtype USA .

Lagoon Engine was also released in the United States on Tokyopop . The manga series was published in German by Carlsen Comics from April 2005 .
