After the first robbery, Dark falls in love with Riku Harada ( 原田 梨 紅 ), Risa's twin sister. But she is secretly in love with Daisuke and begins to hate Dark. While the police are investigating Dark, Risa falls in love with Dark. Daisuke and Dark always come into conflict, also because they are so different. Finally, Satoshi Hiwatari ( 日 渡 怜 ) appears, a classmate of Daisuke's who turns into Krad , Darks' opponent, who wants to kill him. Motorcycle is passed down through the generations through the members of the Hikari family. As Satoshi, however, he seems to have feelings towards Daisuke.

Success and reception

The first eleven volumes sold around four million times in Japan. The German version is also considered to be commercially successful, as the anthologies were mostly placed in the charts of the best-selling manga in German book and comic stores in the month they were published. The American publication was also successful, the volumes were among the ten best-selling comics several times.

The magazine AnimaniA writes of a cute style in the manga . Even darker scenes were nicely done through the targeted use of grid film. The involuntary transformations and embarrassing situations create a lot of comedy. Even if there is not too much tension, the manga is worth reading. At the beginning, however, the story seems, because initially planned as a short story, hastily and easily confused. The first dramatic scenes ended quite abruptly.

According to AnimaniA, the animations and computer graphics of the anime are excellent and fit well into the overall picture. The plot of the manga is only partially taken over, which, however, benefits a more balanced relationship between the plot elements. The music was atmospherically appropriate and the character design was successful. Despite some positive moments, the video game is disappointing due to the lack of ideas.
