The Lagoon Point ( English for lagoon tip ) is a headland on the north coast of South Georgia . It is east of the entrance to Little Jason Lagoon in Jason Harbor .
Scientists from the British Discovery Investigations mapped it in 1929 and named it Bluff Point . In contrast, it is recorded on a map of the British Admiralty from 1930 under its current name.
