Laialepa laht , also Laiapea laht , is a natural lake in the rural municipality of Saaremaa in the Saare district on the largest Estonian island of Saaremaa . The 64 hectare lake is located on the Harilaid peninsula . The next town Kõruse-Metsaküla is 4.2 kilometers away and it is only separated from the Baltic Sea by a 30 meter wide land bridge . It is very shallow with a maximum depth of one meter.
