description

The Lajuk-Lajuk has a straight, single-edged blade. The blade widens from the handle to the location and then runs almost the same width to the location. The blade has neither a hollow grind nor a central ridge. The place is cut off at an angle, the back of the blade being longer than the cutting edge. The handle is made of wood or horn , has no guard and is bent over towards the blade in the pommel area. The pommel is rounded. The scabbards are made of wood or horn and are straight at the end of the town. They are in two parts and wrapped with rattan cords for better fastening . The mouth of the vagina is widened and slightly overhanging on the cutting edge. The Lajuk-Lajuk is used by ethnic groups from Sumatra.
