Lakawon (also Ilacaon or Ilocaon Island ) is a 13 hectare island 4.2 km north of Cadiz City in the province of Negros Occidental , 48 km north of the provincial capital Bacolod City in the Philippines with around 2000 inhabitants. The island has an arched relief. The white sand beach and the small businesses run by the locals are a popular destination for Filipino tourists.
