The Lake Darbonne is a reservoir in the northern US state of Louisiana . It is in close proximity to the small town of Farmerville , the administrative seat of Union Parish . The water area is 62 square kilometers.
The lake is isolated in a rural area and serves as a fishing ground. It is named for the adjacent Lake D'Arbonne State Park, a camping and recreation area supported by the state of Louisiana.
