The Lake Reynolds is a lake in East Antarctic Kemp Land . It is the largest lake on Chapman Ridge and is 2 km east of Lake Barkell .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named the lake in 1983 after the glaciologist Alan Reynolds, who worked at Mawson Station in 1979 and sampled the lake during a dog sledding excursion .
