Lambert Rondhuis

Lambert Rondhuis (born May 4, 1933 ) is a former German football player and coach .

Rondhuis first played for Vorwärts Gronau at a young age , before he was active for several years in senior league teams. From 1953 to 1956 he stormed for STV Horst-Emscher , one year in the Oberliga West and two years in the 2nd League West . 1956/57 he played in the Oberliga Nord with Eintracht Nordhorn . He had his strongest time from 1957 to 1959 in the Oberliga West at Rot-Weiss Essen . The club had become German champions two years earlier and Rondhuis played together with the national players Helmut Rahn , Fritz Herkenrath and Heinz Wewers. In the last two years of his active career he played for Wuppertaler SV , due to a torn ligament and a meniscus damage, he had to retire from active sport in 1961.

After his contract playing career, Rondhuis worked for many years as an amateur coach. Among other things, he looked after the national league clubs 1. FC Bocholt and TuS Borken and worked as a junior coach at Rot-Weiss Essen.
