Lambertus Christiaan Grijns (* 1962 in Bogor , Indonesia ) is a Dutch diplomat.

Grijns was born in Bogor, in the west of Java . In 1970 his family moved to the Netherlands. Grijns returned to Indonesia in 1970 to study in Bandung and to work here from 1987 to 1988. As a diplomat, Grijns was in Vietnam , Rwanda and Costa Rica. From 2008 to 2011 he was the Dutch ambassador to Nicaragua . Grijns then worked in the Netherlands, before being appointed Dutch ambassador to Jakarta in 2019 , with responsibility for Indonesia (accreditation: November 20, 2019), East Timor (accreditation: February 21, 2020) and Singapore (accreditation: September 9, 2019) as well as ASEAN (accreditation: November 6, 2019).
