The Saxon State Office for Finance ( LfF ) is a former authority that was subordinate to the Saxon State Ministry of Finance .

The State Office for Finance was based in Dresden . There were branches in Leipzig and Chemnitz .

history

The State Office for Finance was established in 1991 as part of the development of the Saxon administration. With the adoption of the 2011/2012 budget, the end of this office was sealed. January 1, 2011 it merged with the regional tax office Chemnitz the State Office of Tax and Finance (LSF), headquartered in Dresden.

tasks

The State Office for Finance was materially responsible for the tasks of financial management. In particular, it was responsible for

  • the determination, arrangement and accounting of the salaries for civil servants, employees and pension recipients of the Free State of Saxony, including the determination of aid,
  • the central billing of travel expenses, separation allowances and relocation allowance,
  • the judicial representation of the Free State of Saxony in accordance with the Representation Ordinance (VertV) including dunning proceedings and enforcement,
  • the processing of all bookings in payment transactions with Saxon authorities.
