Helios Clinic Schleswig
The Helios Klinikum Schleswig is a hospital on the Stadtfeld at Sankt-Jürgener-Strasse 1–3 in Schleswig . One of the focal points is neurology . The Helios Kliniken Group is responsible for this . The location goes back to the early 19th century.
history
On October 1, 1820, the institution was opened with 112 places with two wings for men and women.
Around 1900, 900 sick people were fed.
In 1914, the designation "Provincial-Irren-Heil- und Nursing Institution" was changed to "Provincial Healing and Nursing Institution".
In 1919 it was considered a state hospital.

As of January 1, 1937, the Schleswig-Stadtfeld state hospital housed 735 male and 837 female patients; Carl Grabow was the director.
On the evening of September 14, 1944, 705 patients from the sanatorium and nursing home at Stadtfeld and the state nursing home in Hesterberg were led through the city to the ramp of the freight station. They wore wooden clogs on their feet. The background was that the Kiel University Clinic had been bombed out in 1944; the space was needed. In the Landesheil- and nursing home Obrawalde at Meseritz in Pomerania awaited death.

A memorial was inaugurated in 2013.
A large new building was completed in 2016. The architects were HDR GmbH. He accepted the Martin Luther Hospital .
In 2017, drug trials were reported in the 1950s to 1970s, including the antiprsychotic trifluoperazine .
